Contested Landscapes: Art & About Sydney

Art & About Sydney is a month-long living gallery on our streets, with works that aim to make Sydneysiders stop, think, laugh or smile.

Kicking off from 23 September and running until 23 October, this year’s event includes the thought provoking Contested Landscapes: Art meets Science in Customs House Square. The exhibition is a collaboration of creative minds working together to tackle the complex contests for scarce land and resources facing our local communities.

Curated by Leo Robba and produced by Anthony Papp, this unique exhibition showcases very individual artistic responses to the science informing current debates on topics such as water, land usage, urban development, transport and food security.
