Urban farming and balcony gardens

JWP-3895

Our supersized Urban Farming and Balcony Gardening forum at Customs House on Saturday 9 June was a huge success! Our expert line-up of speakers shared all on growing, harvesting, preparing and enjoying food in the heart of our city.

Presenters included Cecilia Macaulay, urban permaculturist and author of long-running blog Balcony Garden Dreaming, Sam Crawford, sustainable architect and creator of Surry Hills charming Edible Outdoor Rooms, Nicola Cameron, from Sydney City Farm shared her international inspiration for a thriving urban farm in our own city and Katherine Oxenham, Manager Urban Ecology at the City of Sydney provided an excellent insight into our local biodiversity.

All presenters have kindly given us permission to include their presentations and contact details here so you can take a second look, get in touch or share their great stories with friends and family.
