This workshop will highlight the importance of bees and the important role they play in the form of pollination. You’ll learn more about native bees and European honey bees, their major differences, which is best for you and finally, how to get your hands on them.

Honey will be extracted from hives during the workshop and you’ll have the chance to compare honey from the supermarket with that from a backyard hive.

This workshop is being run by the Sydney Sustainable Markets and funded through a City of Sydney Environmental Grant.

Book your place here or for more information please contact Jacqui on 0416 525 244 or info@sydneysustainablemarkets.org.
